Verification services of Green House Gases (GHG) reports

In response to the demand of the Environmental Protection Office for verification of GHG reports, AGR has established a service for verifying these reports.

The GHG reports are required by the national program for reducing green house gases emissions. The reports include measurements relevant to each industry. The required measurements are described in the Guidelines of the Ministry of the Environment. The Guidelines also describe the reporting and registering system for the green house gas emissions.

 

 The verification reports may be submitted by manufacturing and service organizations alike following one of the following programs:  

 

  • A voluntary program
  • Any organization that voluntarily chooses to participate in the national program for reducing emissions
  • A mandatory program
    Organizations that are obliged to report, under the Pollution Release and Transfer Registry (PRTR) program and are interested in international recognition.
  • Other
    Any organization that has participated in the National financial support projects for emission reduction and are interested in receiving international recognitions for their efforts

 

 

 Benefits for the certification to the ISO 14064-1 for the verification of reporting GHG emissions .

 

 

  • The verification of your reports will ensure that your data is accurate, valid, complete, transparent and consistent.
  • Today with the awareness of corporate responsibility the GHG reporting can give you extra credibility to your GRI or similar report.
  • During the process one can learn about your own carbon foot print and applicable compliance and legislation issues.
  • A third party audit of the reporting will allow and independent assurance and confidence of the data in the report.

 
  

Note: In order to obtain international recognition A.g.R is in the process of acquiring accreditation according to ISO 14065 for the scope of ISO 14064-1
