| This standard is based on ISO 9001:2008 and incorporates changes and additions that are adapted to quality and safety management systems for the land-based traffic and transportation infrastructure. In addition to the process approach familiar from ISO 9001:2008, the proactive prevention approach is emphasized for safety. This approach is implemented by risk management in the process of identification of risk factors, risk assessment, and risk control. This standard was initiated by the Ministry of transportation and was developed in cooperation with it, and serves as another element of activity. |
